Nice to be in the place where Chimay beer was born. Unfortunately due to covid all except Chapel (quite usual) closed

You can't access most of the abbey . Garden , Chapel and graveyard is accessible. Visit advice if you are in the region . However yhe cafe next to it offers lovely assortment of chimay beer cheese and also souvenirs.
Stoic church surrounded by beautiful woods and gardens. Open to the public from 630 to 8pm every day. You can only see the interior gardens, cemetary and the church but its worth it. Walking in the woods between the abbaye and the Chimay Experience is a good way to wall off a beer before getting back in the car.
A quite well maintained place famous for its exquisite Chimay beer. Don’t expect to visit a brewery, it is only open to see the church and central garden which are both wonderful. Take a 10 min walk to the “auberge” to taste the beers!
This is a Monastery for the Trappiste Monks. The place it's gorgeous. This is where the Chimay beer is made.
Very well kept and a beautiful garden. No signs of any Chimay brewery on the property. But very close to the little hotel/bar/gift shop where you can get your Chimay loving on
