Very nice lido in Catania. You go down steps straight into the sea with the Lido built out over the rocks. Just have to be careful not to scratch your knees as you enter/leave the water.

Looks really nice and has a lovely view. Since I don't eat fish or pizza due to allergies, I ordered the only available option, a Caesar salad. The food was served very quickly, almost too quickly. My salad was a pile of lettuce with some stem left, some cheese and dressing, and a small amount of chicken. Didn't taste much and I didn't get full. Asked to see the dessert menu from three different servers who ignored the request (well, one came with the bill). Finally, what seemed to be the boss came over and told us there were only three desserts of one sort and two of another left (we were a company of seven). We paid and left. I was still a bit hungry. Went to the café next door and had a lovely dessert!

Had an ok night, but recieved a very bad wine(probably been exposed ro sunlight and high temperature for too long). They also got the check wrong at the end. Could have been 4* if not for the errors. (the pizza was great)

The restaurant had a very nice location with sea view and a friendly and service minded crew. However, the food was disappointing and a little more expensive than the restaurants in the area. We had 3 dishes: 1. Pasta with fruit from the sea The sea food was cold and did not appear to be fresh. It was still over-cooked (the day before?) or straight from a can. No garlic or spices was used. A big disappointment! 2. Cesar Salad A cheap type of salad was used, and the chicken was hard and chewy. The taste was still ok. 3. Pasta with sword fish. Very little fish in the dish, and the taste was neutral. The beer was good ( a local one called “Ichnusa”)!
