For more than 22 years, Alexandria Myotherapy has been a positive factor in my health and well-being. All of the therapists (most often using deep tissue massage) have benefited me especially in relieving tight muscles, improving range of motion and greatly diminishing pain. Sometimes I am fortunate to secure more than one appointment/week. Currently I am grateful to have Mr. Bo Lindberg as my therapist. He is yet another asset to this fine practice. I have been a client of Alexandria Myotherapy for years. All of their therapists are professional and considerate. I always leave feeling a lot better than before! Bo Lindberg has helped me especially recently. I can't say enough good things about him!

I've been here twice so far for help with my overuse injuries as an athlete. Both Dina and Allison were excellent in helping me with this. 100% recommend!

Yesterday I went in for my 1st massage here and I ended up booking an appointment with Darla. At the onset of my appointment I filled out new patient paperwork and gave a rating of my areas of concern from greatest to least. She and I talked before my massage began and I expressed my issues of concern which had brought me in to get work done. The massage started out fairly good but as we got into the work I noticed that she wasn't responding to the way my body would cringe up when she was putting on too much pressure. She would push in a sensitive area that I reacted too more than once until I made an obvious movement to signal that this was causing me pain. The 60 minute massage was a full body massage which was fine but not enough attention was put on the areas of concern that I had mentioned at the onset on both the paperwork and during our consultation. That was a bit disappointing. A very odd occurrence as well was that when my massage therapy session was over, when I leaned up to get off of the table I notice that Darla had removed some of the linen from the massage table I was on and had strewn it on the floor. I've had massages done for years and have never had a massage therapist throw linen on the floor like that. They usually wait until the client is gone then change all linens on the table. What she did was off putting. I still gave her a tip at the end of my services but I wouldn't recommend her. If you choose this establishment for your massage work be certain to choose someone else.
