This has fast become my go to place whenever I’m looking for some great food to just kick back and enjoy while watching a movie on the weekend. Food: (5/5) I have had the hot chicken, the tandoori chicken, the egg, the fried rice, the roti rolls and the chicken curry. Now I love spicy food, but I must admit that the food had some great taste. It was made hot and provided to take away. The flavour of the fried rice is just brilliant, I absolutely love it. The packing is great and leakproof. They also have sauce to be added in the roti to make it more spicy, which make the rolls really good. The roll comes with potatoes, veggies and meat and that potato is just brilliant in the roll. The roll itself is a little different from what I’m used to in Indian food, as there seems to be a bit of stuffing in the roti itself. Great addition. So yes, this is a great option for flavourful food. Service: (5/5) Great set of staff who are very thorough and do their job well. They are kind and helpful. Even when there is a large queue outside, they manage to do it quickly and waiting times are not too long. There is enough place for 3 people to stand at a safe distance. Summary: (5/5) Great option. I have tried the food here more than 6 times prior to writing this review. This is a must have for anyone who like Surinamese food.

I used to enjoy the food from here until I bit into my food today and clashed my teeth against an earring. It was disgusting! I felt really sick afterwards. We'd ordered food as a group to the office and it put everyone off their food. When we rang the restaurant to complain they said: \Yeah this kind of thing happens. It probably fell out of someone's ear.\ Like no sh*t Sherlock I could have guess that. They offered to replace the dish, but tbh everyone was already put off their food. I'm disgusted at biting into an earring in my food and can't get the feeling of it scraping against my teeth out of my head. And I'm disappointed that the restaurant doesn't care. Won't be ordering there again.

Sandwiches are a waste of money. Over 5 for a tiny schnitzel with tiny bit of rubber meat.

Disappointed. Dishes way too sweet. This is NOT surinamese food! Told staff food was not eatable, couldn't eat it all, got answer that they will tell it to the chef, but if you don't like it, just go away gesture. It was not cheap, felt scammed. (Wanted noodles, but got nassi rice, staff would not change order) Will not go back.

One word : Fantastic. I have never tasted Surinamese food before, and it was very similar to Indian food. We ordered 2 vegetarian Roti rolls, with Channa, Rajma, mushrooms, potatoes, beans and lettuce inside. They were delicious and we are longing to try this food again. The best part was the high number of options which made us more creative with respect to choosing the ingredients. PS : Karan was a very friendly staff member.
