I'm so pissed off how he handles my mom's condition.. She did two CAT scan, one PET scan within three months with no valuable results. Just keep testing hoping to find a bigger issue instead of going through proper test such as a simple blood test which can detect some possible causes even though we kept requesting for it. I guess he's waiting for a small issue to turn into a big problem. very waste of time with this doctor.

Doctors are great but they are very short staffed when it comes to answering phones and the check in/out area. The staff usually acts irritated when asked questions. Please hire more staff so patients get better service.

Dr. Bloom treated my mother for years. She had COPD, among other illnesses. Eventually it became necessary to take her to her appointments as her care needs increased. Originally he was not as conversant as I was comfortable with and he does rely on his medical tests which naturally turns him to his computer. HOWEVER, I learned quickly that all I needed to do was ask him questions, tell him I didn't understand, or share humor as I did with any other doctor. He is seriously focused but I didn't let that intimidate me. He easily provided all of the answers needed, presented a warmer demeanor and even smiled a few times. He is HIGHLY regarded by nurses and other doctors. I'm thankful for his care and expertise and would not have taken my mother to anyone else.

Dr. Bloom gave my dad a cancer diagnosis while looking at his computer. He is very dismissive and his bedside manner leaves much to be desired. I don't know about his clinical knowledge as he was really reluctant to answer questions and when prodded gave very vague answers that conveyed more his annoyance for having to answer than usable information. He couldn't even keep track of the number of CT scans my dad had gotten. His staff was very helpful and patient but the doc is rotten.

Great doctor. He speaks to you like you are an adult. He is very responsive to questions and answers them forthrightly.
