I was scheduled to donate blood at 930 this morning at 1005 I was still waiting. With COVID there were to many people in the waiting area as the 10am appts were showing up. I donated here once before and it was behind schedule then it was pre COVID. Their sterling office you show up and 5 mins they are taking your donation. I will not use the woodburn office again. I go both Red Cross and inova based on availability

The woman who drew my blood was kind and efficient, as well as the one who tested me for iron/blood pressure. The process of waiting, getting checked in and drawing blood took around 1 hour total. Drawing blood only took 15 min. Glad to be helping people in need of life-saving blood.

I donated blood on Inauguration Day and process was fine. System was down and I had to do paper work the old fashioned way. Staff were nice and I was in and out within an hour.

Came in expecting a typical blood donation experience and left with a sore arm and two days later, a huge bruise. The tech was not experienced and had trouble locating a good vein. Once he did, he jammed the needle in my arm like I have never felt before and nicked my vein. After several attempts to get the vein by moving the needle around, he called over the supervisor to help. He too could not get the needle in and looked at the tech with irritation and pointed to where he should have stuck me. The tech pulled the needle out and apologized for his failure and said I could try again in eight weeks. Very disappointed.

John did a great job. No bruise. Everyone was kind and helpful and willing to answer my questions
