One of the best place for your Wild West photo shoot! You can’t beat the amazing “wild west” feel and look. There’s plenty of dining options, a bar, coffee shop, and some snacks. They also offer Jeep tours, zip lines, a tattoo shop, goldmine tours, and some exotic reptiles. If you want some amazing photos come during sunset!

We were visiting our friend Leslie in Mesa AZ and decided to go to the Goldfield Ghost Town and Mine Tour. This place is pretty neat. The parking is free and so is the entrance to the place. The original mine and buildings burned down years ago but they have recreated it. You can walk around and see the shops as well as all the old stuff they have around the place. They have a mine tour, train tour, horse rides, jeep tours as well as some other things to do that require a fee. We took the mine tour and felt it was worth the cost. They also have a steakhouse as well as a place to get burgers so your day is covered. I think it is worth a visit. Will probably go there again too.

This was our first visit to Goldfield. We were there early to get photos before the crowds arrived, then sat down to cinnamon rolls from the bakery as we watched a red-tailed hawk circle the sky above us. Plan on spending at least 4 hours here if you are going to go through the exhibits. We spent 40 a person for the exhibits and had a great time. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. The Sun Valley has a rich history in mining and Superstition Mountains are very much a big part of it. Due to the paths being dirt inclines, I'm not sure how wheelchairs would do here. Wear a hat, carry water, wear good walking shoes, and if your lucky, maybe you'll see a ghost or two!

So much fun. Did some shopping and had a good lunch and ice cream. Lots of walking around outside, people were social distancing and wearing masks inside the shops. So nice to take out of town company.

I love Goldfield. I am a regular there. I come out from the Scottsdale area regularly, to dine at the Mammoth and listen to live music! The vendors and staff at the mines are all very friendly and accommodating! Prices are great. Love it!
