Great team. Can give you heartburn and keep you up late. But they are champs.
there is nothing quite worse than an organization (and its fans) who feel an overabundant sense of entitlement despite not having accomplished anything of record over the course of their entire existence. its one thing to hold your nose in the air whist looking up at the rafters of your arena and observing your hard earned Stanley Cup Championship banners...but its an entirely different matter when those banners celebrate your Presidents Trophy and your Winter Classic win. You haven't arrived. woooooooo.
I think, the capitals, have been a great welcome addition to DC. DC always felt more like a different \young up and comer\ back in olden days. With the Caps, moving from landover to the new arena in chinatown. You could feel that change was in the air. The caps, may have never won the stanley cup. But they are always a fun team. And for a team that has a good record of making the playoffs (the team always gives the fans something to get excited about.)
