Before lock down my hubby and I went every week, very friendly, relaxed feeling through out the bar area & restaurant, we always have a good chat with the staff and never feel rushed, try to put the world to rights! Also we've never had a bad meal, I've always said a restaurant is only as good as the chief! keep up the good work guys.

Good food and staff helpful. Plenty of parking and great location for visiting castle. Comfy beds. No \extras\ in the room. Very basic. No bathmat or facecloths?
We had a lovely time. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Great to have breakfast next door at the Beefeater where the staff were absolutely brilliant fun!
