I am writing to praise Dr Bomeli for the helping me with my Parathyroid surgery. He is the most competent and professional Dr. I think that I have even encountered. After changing doctors from another practice, Dr Bomeli quickly identified the proper course of action. This was after months of painstaking visits with another practice. The procedure was short and painless recovery time was just as explained. I would highly recommend Dr Bomeli for this type of surgery. Thanks Jim Newton

I would avoid this practice if at all possible. Dr. Samuel Mickelson is so conservative and slow getting anything done or making progress laborious and expensive because of all the doctor visits. After a year of working with him and failures in CPAP, I went to an oral appliance which was also a failure. When I asked for the records to get a second opinion 1.5 years in the doctor had to sign off on the request. After that he would not meet with me and only sent me to physicians assistance staff. After leaving his practice I found out the CPAP machine that was 'sold' to me was an inferior model and not the auto pressure adjusting model. I went with a new sleep doctor and was setup with a new headgear and a new CPAP auto adjusting model and some good progress has been made.

I am posting this due to the nature of how things were handled after my initial consult. Dr. Mickelson is great, very thorough. My trouble with this practice is that during my consult, they charged me for a procedure that was not performed. As I was preparing to call and talk to them about the bill, my wife (surgical coordinator) reviewed it and she caught the hearing test that WAS NOT performed yet I was expected to pay for. The billing specialist was not nice, not a hint of customer service, but said she would remove the charge for the hearing test, but would NOT take off the NO SHOW fee of 25. This appointment was missed when COVID spiked and turned our world upside down, as I was literally laid off that same day. The reason she would not take off the 25.00 no show fee, is because we didn't call... While that seems practical when our economy is healthy and everything is normal. However, I find this practice to be so greedy as to try and get away with over charging me, whether it Was Dr. Mickelson or his scribe who put the procedure in, I don't know. Then to be so cruel about a 25 late fee that should have been removed, at the very least as a courtesy of overcharging us 277.85. All appointments had been moved to Telemed visits or been rescheduled, period. I am absolutely disappointed in the way this practice speaks and treats their patients through a national crisis. While it is a business, the world is in the midst of chaos and fear, and the reality stands. This business doesn't care about patients or the situations they are in.

Be patient with this office for scheduling. They have a process, and are totally worth visiting. I appreciate each employee for their patience with me, and Dr. Steven Bomeli for his professionalism and answering all of my questions honestly and effectively. He was comforting during uncomfortable moments, and really took the time to explain how my disease works. The papers to fill out were also a breeze, and the staff is very friendly. It’s very rare that you find an office that truly cares about patients. I will certainly be back!
