This place saved my life and I will never forget the lasting impression Annette and her staff made on me! My life means something now and I’m able to be a mother my daughter deserves and a better wife, daughter, sister etc. When I arrived at One Step at a Time, I was so lost. I had no clue what I was doing and where I was going and my life meant nothing to me as I had lost it all. They picked me up off the ground and kept me accountable and helped me learn new life skills and supported me and even came to court with me to be by my side!!!! They believed in me even when I didn’t believe in my self and I will never forget the lasting impact they made on my life! Annette and her staff genuinely care and she has saved so many lives. She’s a gift from god and she has been someone I continue to look up to and strive to be like even today!!! I’m blessed to have met her and been there because I probably would be dead today otherwise! This place is real and it’s there to help those that are lost and sick and suffering and an amazing place to find yourself and get better and have accountability but also a family you gain like no other!!!! Thank you One Step, you forever changed my life!!!!

I graduated from One Step a number of years ago and it gave me the opportunity to have the life that I have Today. When I got to One Step, I was fresh out of jail, no where to go with little to no support and now I have multiple years clean from drugs and alcohol. Today I am a Certified Addiction Counselor in the state of Georgia working in the recovery field as a primary counselor at The Extension. One Step is a great place to get a start if you are really ready for change. I recommend one step to anyone who want a new way of life and is willing to work for it!
