This experience was our decadent treat of 2020. Chef Hayakawa and his staff provided a memorable experience. The sushi was the best that we've had in the USA and on par with what we've had in Japan. We could definitely taste the freshness of the ocean. I was able to cross sea grapes off my foodie bucket list, and I was delighted by the bursts of flavor and popping sensations. The uni and hotake were delicate and had a clean taste. It was impressive that the Chef flies in the high quality seafood from Japan and knows the origin details behind each ingredient. For example, knowing the size of the original blue fin tuna and the portion share needed for his restaurant. The tuna had a buttery texture. Overall, an exceptional dining experience that was reminiscent of our Japan travels and worth every penny.

This is hands down the best sushi I've ever had. Everything we tried tasted better and better. The chef is a true matter of his craft. Not only was everything delicious but the way they put it together it's truly art. I'd recommend doing yourself a favor before you go and check their web page. Yes they have some \strict\ rules but I feel it's all to help the experience. You will spend allot of money but it's worth every cent. The experience was so grand and entertaining. I look forward to my next visit.
Sushi Hayakawa provides the best sushi, seafood and Japanese dishes in Atlanta. Today, I tried the take-out grilled seafood bowl, and it was awesome. I recommend you to microwave the bowl before you eat it. Sushi Hayakawa is a high-end sushi restaurant that serves the greatest quality of fish from Toyosu Fish Market in Japan. Especially the uni (sea urchin)! It’s superb quality. I am from Japan and I guarantee the quality of sushi and seafood here in Sushi Hayakawa. Chef Hayakawa is a very kind and considerate person.
As someone who has travelled to Japan 9 times and eaten sushi all over the country, this is one of the top sushi meals I've had in the US. Atlanta is very lucky to have a place like this. The experience is traditionally Japanese, and chef Hayakawa is an incredible sushi master, who entertains along the way, and is a pleasure to eat with. The fish is freshly sourced from Japan, with a high attention to details that separate the good from the great. I can't wait to eat here again!
Fare priced for the quality and experience of the chef. Low pressure and consistent progression of high quality seafood with a focus on ingredients from Japan. This master chef from hokaido will delight your taste buds from first bite to final taste. Well worth the trip or celebratory visit.
