Our marae provides great services as Whanau awhina for the community & they are our Hub, when "much" happens in the area. It's our contact for social needs.. from counseling to awhina Kai, waiata & Te Reo Māori classes for all levels, Celebrations & promotions applicable. Always something going on xx Worth a visit, often Ngā mihi ki nga kai-mahi.

MUMA Whanau Ora Services and Foodbank is a real blessing to some of the community facing hardships with the rentals being so expensive even in social housing it doesn't leave them much power is expensive

We attended this cultural icon to assist the local community through the gifting of food packages. The people who occupy this Marae are supremely generous of heart and spirit.

The complex has many Social Services available to the public - one that really struck me was the Food Bank - open to all in need this is in partnership with Auckland City Mission. Located on site is also Radio Station - Waatea 603AM , a Kura (school) such a lively hub of activity. Meeting room available for hire with ample parking (free, what a bonus) A wonderful resource based in South Auckland - Friendly atmosphere all over. :)

This organisation has the right resources and terms of service for the community help it is trying to provide for. Top marks for organisation in this field. It does however need to leave itself more open to what is actually happening to the individual that is seeking help. Not all situations are easy to determine and some visitors may need to be just listened too one on one to really understand the situation that they have found themselves in. Overall a very worthwhile organisation that is very helpful to people struggling to survive in the harsh community that South Auckland has become. Well done team.
