I'm still a kid and I was homeless and I was sent to this petty shelter. There were people who did drugs in front of children LIKE ME, no towels, no soap, and the staff were very rude to my parents and me. No one should go here. Plus I was bitten countless times by beg bugs. Please don't come here and ONLY come here if it's your only option

It's amazing to me how these people can complain about getting helped! My Mother ,Brothers and I where homeless most of my Childhood due to my Mothers addiction problems. I was so thankful of any help that I got from friends and Strangers! The weird thing is,,, I only remember the help and the kindness of the people that helped. I don't remember being such a malcontent for anything! If you are an adult and made many bad decisions in your life that's on you! Grow up take control and get yourself out of there! Why do you people always make your problems other peoples problems and burden them?

This shelter has saved my life and my baby's life. I was pregnant when I came here, we had lost our apartment and I was scared out of my mind. They are helping us on our feet and above all gave us a safe stable room to safely have my baby girl with me in. Before Comitis I was hopeless and helpless. If you truly are sick of struggling and don't want to be homeless then they will help you if you put all your effort into getting on your feet again. They have long term programs and transitional housing for poor families with children (or pregnant women) on TANF, for addicts who want to recover and for veterans. They have a shelter that runs on a lottery. They have a part time employment program for eligible guests if you're interested. Most of the staff cares, I won't name the few staff members who dont but their attitude makes it clear. Honestly, truly, thank god for Comitis Crisis Center. I have never been so grateful and thankful in my life.

This is the worse shelter I have ever been to . They are infested with bed bugs to the point where its multiple bedbugs crawling all over the bed and the bed post . We were only there 20 min and my husband got bit on his arm. It was the most disgusting thing I ever saw. They need to take that whole building down and rebuild it that's how bad the bed bugs are. Then when we told the staff they only gave out the bottle of raid like that was going to work This is definitely not a good place to go. .

Great and caring place with a wonderful staff that care and are helpful. There is a nightly lottery system, a family floor, and a veteran floor.
