The wonderful proprietor of 'Wool-n-Things' in Baldock, went beyond the call of duty with her service and home delivery. She succeeded in rapidly sourcing the exact knitting equipment we needed, when other wool businesses (both nationally and locally), failed to come-up with the goods. Her communication skills, both online and in person, were par excellence. She went the extra mile, which will not only result in an indebted and happy customer, it will also go a long way in terms of keeping the shop on my radar for future business. Friendly local wool shop that also stocks embroidery silks, equipment, buttons and patterns. The welcome is warm and a variety of classes are offered for complete beginners as well as for those wishing to perfect their skills or learn a new technique. You can also order bespoke items for yourself, a loved one or a special pet.
I'm a fairly regular customer, staff always helpful, helping to find suitable yarn for a particular pattern, and happy to share expert tips

A lovely shop to visit. Lovely friendly staff and lots of yarn, cross stitch and embroidery threads. They also have what we call \crafty club\. Its where you can knit or sew and chat for a couple of hrs with us lot and we have a great time
