One of the best local restaurant i have ever eaten in Barcelona. It's a typical Catalonia restaurant, no to fancy but has a special charm. The stake is awesome and the Paris cafe sauce that comes with it is absolutely delicious. They serve good wine also. The staff is very friendly. Food came fast and the service was impeccable . it has a service fee and i recommend to make an reservation ahead, the changes of finding a table are low without one, especial in the evening

Definitely a nice place, in between a chic bistro and a homey brasserie. Interesting good value wine choice but you'll have to be patient to discuss the matter with the maitre d (nice pro by the way,), as the owners daughter is not knowledgeable...a couple of things could easily be improved such as sides served with meat dish : bland shoestring fries, seriously ??

Excellent traditional Catalonia food . I visited this restaurant many years ago, with excellent food and very efficient service. When I was back to Barcelona a few weeks back while I was looking for a Catalonia restaurant by chance it was on the web. Went there for lunch with a friend. It was still as excellent as before. I'm so glad that it was found after all these years. It is going to be my must visit restaurant whenever I go to Barcelona again.

Cute mom and pop restaurant just off the beaten path. My travel companion wanted paella, and it's on the menu so we decided to check it out. We split an entree of cod fritters and fried calamari, both were absolute knockouts. The fritters were light and felt silky smooth in your mouth. The calamari perfectly cooked. Our paella for two was huge, and loaded with fish and seafood. It was more tomato based than saffron, I don't think I've ever had one quite like it but I enjoyed it. Small wine list, but decent prices. Efficient service by sharply dressed waiters. All in all a good place to eat. And they open early, and don't give you too much side eye for eating a few hours before all the locals do.

We went there for lunch. It looks very fancy but the staffs are super nice and very warm and welcoming. Even in their busiest time they kindly asked us to wait and seated us. Eventually we got seated and we ordered grilled squids and meatballs. They have English menu and the staffs understand English too. Inside, we found out that the place is actually very old and several notable people have visited the restaurant as well. The location is also perfect as it is close to the Plaza de Catalunya and the shops nearby.
