A really, really nice place to visit. Clean and tidy too.

Beautiful views. Highly recommend. There is a honesty toll to pay but worth every penny. 1 adults 50p children. Car park near by. Few steps leading down to it. Plenty of walkers, and cyclists using it and the train goes right by.
The wooden (except for a small section) railway bridge from 1867 and the town of Barmouth are other places on the island that must be visited if you want to come back here often. The surroundings of the mountains and the waters of Cardigan Bay create a wonderful atmosphere. The bridge is the oldest wooden bridge in use on the island. It crosses the Mawddach river estuary and at low tide you will see a bridge in the desert and at high tide over a huge river.
Excellent walk over the bridge... Superb sight... Interesting history of the bridge... A bit more investment and refurbishment would be nice... If you do cross the bridge don't forget to contribute ... Troll box is there!!!
Lovely looking bridge with some fantastic views on and around it.
