The lack of information for people about the covid vaccine is completely unacceptable. You call the surgery (if you can actually get to speak to anyone) and it simply says do not call us we are not a vaccination site. Nothing further on their website. My mother is 90 and has had absolutely no contact or information from the surgery. Yet many people locally have had 2 vaccine injections. Two thirds of the population over 80 have had at least one injection. The lack of information from her GP practice and explaining when and how she will get an appointment for the vaccine and explaining their responsibility for putting her name forward is simply unacceptable.
