We were the people to move our horse into Tycross when they opened for business at the beginning of the year. It was only one small stable block back then, but has since grown into a really nice, tidy little yard with about 15 to 20 horses (plus a small accompaniment of miniature goats, rabbits, a couple of dogs, a tropical bird and, I believe some turtles). The family that runs the yard are extremely friendly and down-to-earth, and remarkably hard working. There other owners at the yard are also a good bunch and there is always someone to go for a hack with. Hacking in the area is excellent - you need to go along a country road for a few hundred metres, but after that there are almost endless bridal ways with fantastic views over the Bedfordshire countryside. All in all, we would definitely recommend Tycross to anyone looking for somewhere to keep their horse in the Beds area.
