I’m a physician who works at another hospital but lives in Bellingham and my wife and I had a great experience here with our latest birth. Room was large with a good-sized sleeping area for me (the partner). Nurses were very helpful and kind. Shoutout to Megan, Kami, Tami and Pati! Our OB was Dr. Emerick who was fantastic and everyone from the OR staff to the food staff were very nice. I was very impressed with the food actually. Highlights were the sandwiches which were large with real deli meat and bread from Avenue Bread, breakfast sandwich, French toast, coffee, Caesar and white cheddar berry salad, and really tasty desserts (Chocolate torte, apple pie and cookie). We were quite happy and wanted to share our experience!

My wife and I had a terrible experience here today. We had the choice of 10 days worth of medication or a \quick\ shot. So we chose the quick shot. At this point we had been here for hours already.. we ended up waiting for an hour and a half longer for a shot to be brought to the triage. After saying something 3 times, they finally rushed the medication. But when it came down to it, it ended up being too big of a dose and had to go back to be split into two doses. At that point in time my 23 week pregnant wife hadn't eaten anything but a packet of crackers and a cheese stick in the course of 8 hours. We now have to give her a dose, wait linger, and give her the other. We could have just gotten a paper prescription and got the pills in a matter of minutes. I do not recommend coming here. At all.

Amazing people at the child birth Center. Nurses and doctors were amazing you can see they love their job. They made me feel comfortable. They let me get an epidural when i couldnt handle the contractions anymore at 9 cm. The previous review to mine is crazy. Lol you don't fill out paperwork right there and then unless you didn't pre register, and your doctor will most likely remind you to at every appointment.
