How ironic the hospital basically leading our city's COVID initiative can't even train it's own staff how to use masks. Every nurse currently treating a family member arrived with their mask below their nose. Sincerely hope this changes as of Stage 4 restrictions. I expected better of our health system.

I had a wonderful experience yesterday. I needed to get checked out & I was streamlined to the seperate Respiratory Accident & Emergency Department. It was the first day of their new documentation and communication system. All staff were well trained in the streamlined system. I couldn't have been more impressed. Smooth, fast, straightforward. I clearly remember 5 nurses who assessed and cared for me. They were all excellent. Janelle was especially lovely. The care experience was overseen & concluded by Dr Keith Nallaratnam. He is a very clear and skilled communicator. Highly intelligent in medicine and people. He listens and he goes the extra mile. He had obviously read the information that had been recorded, allowing him to just concentrate on the missing links and spending time to offer advice about how to manage my illness in future. Everyone was was very kind and caring. I've said it before and I'm saying it again. Benders is Blessed with health care

Bendigo Health is incredible and certainly saved my life and have given me many more years to love and share with my family. Having endured the complete lack of care and being treated simply as a 'dollar value' when treated by the private healthcare system for which my wife and I paid top dollar for the very best medical care which was nothing more than medical treatment and definitely not 'care'. Bendigo health was a breath of fresh air and what I had always imagined high quality public healthcare should be. I had the very best surgeons and the very best care possible in intensive care and then later in a regular surgical ward. Nothing was too much trouble and all the nursing staff and doctors that looked after me were exceptional very friendly and caring. Thankyou Bendigo Health for giving me my life back from the very serious depths of aggressive cancer 8 long years ago.

Grate hospital nurses are just awsum care is A1. I've been admitted 5 times in 2020. I am here right now ward 5. Two operations earlier this year June & July removed adrenaline glands. Lung operation next week from a collapsed lung. Food is good for hospital food I liked it. All in all AAA Bendigo health has helped me so much in the last 12 months it was just bad luck it was during COVID19. DAMN THE RONA/COVID

AMAZING MIDWIVES AND DOCTORS went in to be induced on the 1st of September and wow what an amazing experience I had with everyone that came into my birthing room. The smiles the warmth and comfort the midwives and doctors gave me the support the re assurance that we are all fine. In the ward same experience just beautiful women that work here made sure we had everything and were comfortable the information they were giving me was so very helpful even though it was my 4th baby I highly recommend having babies here ️ Thank you for everything you do x

Professional and helpful. Our family member was diagnosed with breast cancer and was treated at Bendigo Health. We had some needs for post-treatment paperwork and the team was happily to assist.

I was happy at first as we were called in to see my husband in ICU, as things progressed he detereated to the stage where he nearly passed away he was well looked at and we could see him, then they moved him back to the ward, where you have to book in to see him, otherwise its a no go. He is having a really bad time as they can't attend to him so he's just hanging in there by himself because of COVID.
