Good food. Decent ambiance. Need to maintain regular interval not floor and table alone.

One of best coastal cuisine fine dining restaurant of Bangalore that has been mentioned in lonely planet guide too , Kanua has ambience that reminds of old time mangalorean villas and home. The food served is delicious and comprised of varied dishes from mangalore , Goan and Konkan area of coastal India . Perfect place for special occasions and meetup

The place lacks popularity since it is located in hidden area. There is no parking facility and the customers end up parking their vehicle in the streets. The restaurant is at the rooftop usually quiet, not crowded and doesn't need reservation. This is a place where you can taste authentic Mangalore cusine. This place is expensive compared to other mangalorean restaurant. To taste variety of Mangalore dish will cost around Rs 800 per head. The reason for 3 stars : 1) Ordered Chicken sukka, and it was served burnt. However sea food was excellent. 2) Mangalore signature dish, "Kori rotti " which is basically thin rice roti , served with Hot chicken curry on top of it. While ordering the dish, rotti and chicken curry had to be ordered separately, which defies the whole dish all together. 3) Ordered pundi , and was served rawa pundi rather than the rice pundi. 4) Food is expensive. ( Half plate ghee roast , 4 medium pieces is Rs 450, chicken sukka Rs 350 ) These dishes cost around Rs 200 in other places. 5) When you are paying premium price on food, the place deserves parking lot. Pros : 1) Quick service. 2) Friendly waiters. 3) The famous ice cream of Mangalore " ideals" is located in the ground floor. ( Must try " gudbad" ). It can be ordered and get to rooftop once done with main course. 4) The meal is ended with complimentary jaggery chocolate. 5) village theme ambience. Overall, a must try restaurant if you are a sea food lover with authentic mangalorean taste.

Uniqueness in taste at its best!! A music visit restaurant if you love mangalore cuisine. They are at this place since 2007 and all their dishes are great in taste and antique interiors

This place is on the rooftop and is covered. The ambiance is of a South Indian household and has homely vibes. We went for team lunch here We ordered ala-carte and they took really less time to serve it. Relished some dishes such as chicken ghee roast (so yummy) and coriander chicken. Butter garlic prawns were also good. We had neer Dosa and chicken curry for main course. The dosas were super thin and tasted well with the curry. Overall really satisfied with the food and the service!
