A treat for my partner on his birthday and it was such a lovely morning. A one or two hour experience at the imperial bird of prey academy was well worth it and Faith was so lovely and extremely knowledgeable. Easy to find as sign posted and also facilities for drinks and food on site.

I attended an experience day yesterday (7 March 2017) and it was absolutely brilliant. Learnt lots about the various birds and actually flying them was superb. Had a 'bird of prey experience' bought for Christmas. My son and I had an hour with the birds both handling them and the flying an owl. It was a great experience and Ben, one of the assistants, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and answered all our questions. Walked around the academy afterwards visiting the birds and reptile house. We then saw a shortened flying display due to the weather and visited the cafe for hot drinks and cake. A brilliant morning all round.

Had a lovely time at barleylands bird of prey experience today. Birds are really well looked after and flown most days. We had plenty of handling time as well as flying an owl. The young man was very informative and I would recommend this to anyone.

What a wonderful time we had learning to handle various birds and seeing them up close. We learnt so much about the birds with a really informative friendly chat with the handler. Later we were outside when the birds were released and came back to your hand, such a special time.
