Nice promenade with shared walkers and cyclists. Beach now available for dog walkers. Plenty of parking available and free at the west end. Many cafes but not so many toilets. Town centre just a few steps inland.

Lovely wide beach with a dilapidated pier - lots of seaside food options and a playground for the children as well as crazy golf. Bognor just needs investment and then it could be beautiful!

A decent place to sit and watch the day go by. Take a chair or blanket to sit on, unless you like sitting on stones. You will find a small park for kids and a sand pit, on the beach front. Also a few food outlets and pub. Fun fair at one end and a arcade.

Loved it. First time here. Brisk walk on the promenade with the winter weather outstanding. The cleanest public toilets I've seen in years.

A lot of people have dismissed Bognor as a place to visit these days because they believe that it no longer offers what they want in a holiday. They’re wrong! It’s long beach, pier and promenade are a testament to its bygone days stretching for miles in both directions. Buttons Holiday Camp is on the seafront and you can pay to play for a day should you wish to be entertained as both an adult and a child. Just down the road is a place called The Witterings, a long stretch of Sandy beach with cafes and restaurants close by with plenty of parking. Chichester is a stunning, Roman walled town with an amphitheater and villa within walking distance of history is your thing or a medieval cathedral with gardens to wander around if that is your thing. Bognor has its own high street of shops, chain and independent, and a wide selection of cafes and restaurants. It just needs you, the visitors, to have trust and faith in what it has to offer. If you don’t want to stay overnight, just arrive by train for a relaxing day and jump back on again for Portsmouth, Chichester or Brighton. And the sunsets.....well, see for yourself. No filters were used.

Pebble beach, but I really like it. Fish and chips and ice cream never far away and the pier is fun when open.
