Big national park and beautiful scenic views from the peak. Felt like hiking 5 Kms up (3kms was said officially) for reaching the peak of the park where one can see the archway. Hiking can be tiresome for beginners . Hiking path starts 1-2 Kms from the parking area , which can also be reached through sight seeing bus . Tickets are there for going to view points in the peak ; ticket cost around 4 euros .Restaurants, rest rooms ,suvonier shop are available at the peak. Better to take drinking water with you since it's not available anywhere in hiking path. Hiking up to the peak is difficult for non hikers , but enjoyable :-)
Absolutely stunning. It’s a paradise. Pictures absolutely doesn’t do any justice to it. Must visit place once in a lifetime. I wish I could rate more to it. It’s a long way hike but absolutely worth it. Make sure that you plan and go, so as to manage the time. One can pack the food and go to eat at the top with the beautiful view or else there are 2 restaurants at the top. At the top there is entry ticket of around 3.50. High recommend to visit this place.
Very beautiful nature place. Must visit if you are coming to Czeck Republic. Go for a boat trip too. Amazing beauty.
Absolutely stunning nature views, many hike trails
One of the most beautiful places in the Czech Republic. Worth visiting in summer, despite the amount of people. You can always find places with no tourists and amazing views. A boat trip in Hrenske soutěsky is short but mesmerizing. Dog friendly and kids friendly.
Very nice place for hiking. We walked 18 kms (almost) and had a boat ride. National Park entrance fee is 95czk/person (student discount available) Boat ride is 100czk/person. We got round trip tickets from Hlavni Nadrazi to Decin (135 czk/person) and then took a bus 438/434 (28 czk/person). We took the 8:26AM train from Prague to Decin and 19:22 train back from Decin to Prague. Duration: The first leg was for 45 mins to get to the top. There we rested and fueled ourselves with food & water The second leg was 70-75 mins. Then we rested for 20 mins. The third leg was for 1 hour : 20 mins on the road, 20 mins steep descend to the river side 20 minutes walking by the river to the ferry point Boat ride was for 20 minutes The last leg was again a walk for 15-20 minutes to get back to the main road/bus stop. There are a couple of restro-pub at the mountain top. You have washrooms there. The next set of eateries and pubs are the end of the second leg (70mins.)
Amazing place! It’s like an fairytale. It has completely different feeling than the rest of Czech Republic. If you go there take the boat it’s fun and guides are great. Perfect place for autumn weekend.
