Lovely but closed - 11th Dec 2020. Went walking to the pike but found all the cafes closed. The big banner on the green is gone. We were there from 11:00 to 14:00 and parked at the lower barn. The toilets were open. Thankfully we took a picnic and ate at the top but hoped we would get a drink at the end of the walk.

We regularly go up to the tea room for lunch after a walk around Rivington. It’s a really friendly place, welcoming to all people. Our daughter, who is 3, loves it, especially the yummy cakes. It’s clean, the staff are lovely and a great menu choice. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely love this place. Its a beautiful dog friendly tea room in the village of Rivington. The staff work extremely hard to ensure all their customers have a lovely experience. The menu is varied including full breakfasts, snacks, hearty meals or truly scrumptious cakes . Cant wait to visit again.

Looked at the website, it said open for takeaway at 10am..Please update your site. Having returned home I was surprised to see a response by the owner explaining the situation with their website, I am very grateful for this response. I take note about negative reviews, this is the reason we chose to visit this tea room, we want to use and help these lovely destinations and it was the whole focus of our visit. I didn't call the number because the door was padlocked up and no internal lights were visible. I have resubmitted a star rating based on past fabulous visits. I hope you can understand my frustration as we had walked down from the barn with two hungry toddlers and a grandma with painful meniscus membranes. We will revisit next Friday, please advise what your order procedure is. Thanks once again for your response.

Tea room with excellent food, fantastic service. Clean and friend. Great prices for great taste. Superb views. Based in an old church. With great walks surrounding area. Definitely saved to visit again.
