Good for kids
Well hidden woodland containing a number of streams and the Douglas beck. Shows beautiful colours in the autumn and the waterfalls are worth a visit when in flood. Just note walking boots recommended, as it can be muddy and slippy in places and the paths are narrow. The North path takes you up to Rivington Pike eventually. A great place to explore for more energetic ramblers.

Beautiful waterfall and surroundings really enjoyed it deffintly recommend on a red hot day
Very nice place to go to chill out and relax. Stunning scenery all around. Great spot to walk and and lovely waterfall where you can relax and have some lunch. Then walk around the rest of it.
If you are going there in autumn or winter, it is better to take wellington boots. The place is beautiful, although we didn't visit the whole place because it started to rain.
Even in mid December there was still some autumnal colour to be seen. Can get a bit slippery but worth the effort especially after rain.
