Ticketed within first 24 hours of vacation due to a legitimate oversight/accident. A stressful and disappointing experience. There was little understanding and it has shifted my view of the area. Would think twice before visiting this area again.

Had bad experience with one the sheriff officers from here. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the police. I'm always thankful for their service, but a lot of time some of the police officers are just some arrogant selfish people that only want to take advantage of other people.

Every officer and member of staff has been exceptionally polite. And I am astounded at how many negative reviews this department has received based on an edited version of a tape that shows the criminal resisting and fighting (and even that video has been edited to make her look like a victim and twisted to fit the \ woe is me\ narrative. The video still shows a non compliant individual who thinks they should not be punished for breaking THE LAW) Guess what guys?! You break the law, you go to jail and if you resist or attempt harm yourself or other officers, they legally have to preserve your safety, their safety and the safety of the other inmates. If you don't want to go to jail, then DON'T BREAK THE LAW. Very simple.Just sayin
