Wonderful personal service once again. Chris Blissett really went out of his way to help me get a very special photobook produced and delivered to my son for his lockdown 21st birthday. This is the second order and I have recommended to others and each time we have had our expectations exceeded. Thank you.

We came to Blissetts with a rather large and complex project for printing and binding (an illustrated anthology of poems over 600 pages long with foil blocking, wrap around hardcover, sewn binding – the works). Blissetts made this project happen, without them we wouldn’t have gotten close to a finished product (or a good one). Not only did they produce a fantastic final book they were also a joy to work with. They provided quick, concise and clear guidance to any queries we had and also pointed out a serious problem with the cover design which I hadn’t accounted for during my design process. Because of this we were able to fix the cover design and end up with an amazing result (well the workmanship is amazing – the quality of my artwork is open to interpretation). Also they offered a hard proof copy so we could check the final printed colours. To any newbies out there I would recommend you take this option. I had undercooked the brightness of quite a few of the darker illustrations and the hard proof copy allowed us to identify these illustrations and fix them for the final book. This option was mentioned by Blissetts and once again they prevented one of my mistakes from ruining the book. Overall I would highly recommend Blissetts and if I need book binding and printing done in the future I know where I’ll be going.
Blissetts printed my doctoral thesis during the initial Covid-19 lockdown in the UK and they handled the disruption this caused with professionalism and efficiency. My thesis was printed on time and appropriate communications with me and the University meant there was no delay in the process (although the process was different than it might normally have been), which, all in, meant I was able to graduate with my class. I have no reservation in recommending Blissetts!
