This is the best carpark to hide in your car from the rain. When it finally stops you can get out and join the billions of small families furiously smacking rocks with a tire iron. Honestly my son refused to leave the beach until we had found a fossil, it got to a point where I picked up a big rock and told him it was a dinosaur skull. He seemed satisfied and we could leave.

Wonderful beach to visit a good walk dogs love it you can go down the path or over the fields
Small NT car park. There's a short walk down the dune to access the beach, which is sandier and shallower than neighbouring Burtin Bradstock beach. Affords incredible views as ypud expect a quality Chesil beach to offer. NB, there are no additional facilities here, but the Hive cafe on BB beach is awesome!
Lovely place for a walk, either through the fields behind the beach and back along the beach or just straight to the beach. Car park gets very busy.
Limited National Trust parking. Free to members. Lovely quiet area to see nature,. Countryside and beach. Walking area.
First time I had been to Cogden Beach pretty easy walk down and back Parking was so easy wasn't so bad as it was made out to be on Google search Will definitely be going back at some stage soon
I didn't know Dorset coast could be so beautiful..Take your family here, or a friend, or a dog.. or come alone. It's soothes your soul.
Small NT carpark which is well place for strolls along the beach or exploring the sand dunes.
