I am very disappointed and upset! Called and spoke to Melissa Muse about an incident. She immediately becomes nasty says it is not their fault and continued to argue. If a parent calls the transportation department the reply should never be handled the way Ms. Muse handled it. If I have a concern the response should be to take down information and look into the situation and NOT argue! How is she a representative for our schools transportation department?

I wanna tip my hat off to the men and women that are doing their best to get the children safely to and from school. There is a shortage of bus drivers in most of the counties everywhere and I have much respect for them as I used to think that bus drivers just drive but they do so much , much more. And trying to learn a new route when you’re not familiar with the territory can be pretty intimidating and complicated. Not to mention getting the children to school and home on time. Especially to the new bus drivers. It is very understandable to become frustrated when the bus is late getting children home or to school. I was that student and parent upset, but they’re doing their best please support them and please be patient.

This department is horrific. It took 2 weeks into school and me leaving 4-5 unreturned voicemails a day for my children to get assigned a bus. A week after it was fixed i got a call asking for clarification on their drop off location (after being on said bus for a week) THEN my child comes home and tells me the bus driver said my two children are not allowed on the same bus. And of course no one is answering their phone again. I can even get a hold of anyone to file a formal complaint with.

I'm a student and I always get home late! I want 1 more bus just to get home on time other getting picked up at 3:30 then I get home at 3:50. Please and thank you
