This peace-loving country attracted many thinkers and artists that took refuge during the wars and unrest. These Switzerland quotes beautiful depicts the thoughts of these people and the way they found freedom and peace amidst the beauty here.

It was not only good to visit Switzerland, but rather felt peaceful when in Geneva and travelling to see the countryside. Switzerland is indeed a peaceful country!

I love art installations so deliberately went to see the Broken Chair. The broken chair is designed by Swiss artist Daniel Berset. The chair is made of 5.5 tonnes of wood and 12 metres high. Opposite the chair, you will see the Palace of Nations.

A fascinating structure made alongside a fountain and with the UN buildings a stone throw away. There are a bunch of good cafes around but this place is majorly frequented by tourists.

An unique statue overlooking the United Nation office. This monument promotes peace to the world.

Quirky statue next to the UN headquarters. Great for funny pictures and there are water fountains for kids (and adults) to play in when it’s warm! Bus and tram links back to the train station and the city centre.

A nice piece of art. The best thing is that it doesn't cost anything at all to see. However you will probably be tempted to visit the UN office that is located nearby and cost money to get in.
