Our previous review seems to have disappeared! Read the contract very carefully. Any structural damage will not be made good, as we found out when bricks were dislodged in our garage wall during the fitting of the new door. It was pointed out to Hayes Door Centre and we were told words to the effect 'Tough, read the contract, we don't rectify any structural damage.' It is very disappointing as we are happy with the door itself.

Avoid at all costs. They get a star for the quick response on my first phone call. I called them because my garage door had come off the rails, they came out same day to have a look and quickly popped it back on the rails for free. That's where the good service ended. They said they had a garage door in stock ready to fit on the Monday, which was a really quick turnaround - Thought that was great service. I arrived home at 1pm to find the new garage door partially fitted and completely unlocked, leaving thousands of pounds worth of tools completely unprotected and the fitters no where to be seen! The standard of the fitting is shocking. They said they would replace the wooden frame with a new one. They didn't. They left the top timber in place and bodged together 6 different pieces of wood at the sides, either because they measured wrong or just don't know how to build a frame properly. As such, we have a 4 inch gap at the bottom of our door. Great for people wanting a look inside. The wood they used was untreated soft wood, and they didn't prime it properly so its probably going to need replacing in a year or two because its rotting. They must be rationing screws as my door has about 4 holding it aswell. I explained my concerns, as I wasn't going to pay the remaining 50% considering the finish of the job. The director and the fitter came out and the fitter stood in front of the carpenter I had asked to come round and have a look, and argued the frame was done properly! Gave them the chance to remove the door and fit a proper frame, they didn't. They said they would refund my money and put my old door on. They didn't. Haven't heard from them again. I have only just realised that the door doesnt lock properly either, you can turn the handle and half open the door even when its meant to be locked. Basically - They're cowboys.

From the moment of fitting a disappointing experience and service. The garage door was fitted with a gap as large as 5cm at the bottom (see photo). I have emailed and phoned but more than a month on have yet to had a response.

Had a problem with my remotes not opening my garage door.. Called Hayes Door Centre as they fitted the door nearly five years ago I hasten to add and did a fantastic first class job.. Anyway, lady on the phone was so helpful and an engineer attended today and sorted the issue very quickly... Fantastic service again. Refreshing to know that they are always prepared to help ASAP especially at this difficult time. Fantastic Company would not hesitate to recommend them...Huge thanks yet again....
