A nice park but I feel recent projects have caused problems and made it less nice to visit. We love to visit the park but in the last five years there have been no end of large projects to build things or remove things and it really has made the park smaller and less enjoyable to visit. There is now a lot of flooding in the park ever since two years ago someone decided to move the route of the brook through the park. The big problem with this seems to be the main stretch where the water was expected to flow up hill... This clearly has lead to a great deal of flooding at the more natural end of the park which is lower, rendering much of it unusable for three months of the year now. All the seasonal trees along the brook through the middle of the park were also removed and destroyed and nothing has been planted in their place. There used to be some lively trees which had leaves that looked like smoke which changed colour over the seasons. I really miss seeing those. The project at the bottom of the park was never finished it seems so the bank there is quite dangerous with a close drop down into it and exposed bricks and pipe work sticking out, it looks terrible and is very messy all year around. New path ways have recently been laid through the woods and across one of the football pitches, this is much better for walking on in the winter but we do miss walking the natural trails through the woods, it now feels more like walking through a housing estate. I really wish they had put the pathways outside of the wooded area as we go to the park for the nature and now what we mostly see there is litter, unfortunately. I don't want to put people off visiting as it is still a nice place to walk around but I would love to see more thought and care on the projects which are put in place there. It can be very busy, especially in this last year of course, and if nothing else it shows Bromsgrove really needs more parkland and open space.

A brilliant spectrum of glorious colours this autumn - come now before the leaves depart! Well worth a visit! Fabulous!

Really had a good time, little challenging with, 5,4 and 2.5 year old's however gated all way around, kids loved it, great cafe as well, before lockdown met up with my family, and cheese and ham toasties all round! Look forward to meeting up with family soon

Great for children, a nice big playground with lots of activities and plenty of swings even musical instruments. There's a pond and a skate park and plenty of free parking. The cafe is open for take away only and they have hot and cold sandwiches and drinks at a very reasonable price.

First time here, accidental find after exploring nearby areas. Plenty of parking space, beautiful spot by the water under the trees make excellent picnicking spots. Has plenty of space for the kids to run about as well as the playground and the outdoor gym. Huge area to explore, recommend a visit.
