I appreciate that no debt collector will have fans however the customer service is extremely poor, waited months for half a response, managers never call back despite advising they will within 3 days and the complaints department dont take calls. Complaints are not treated seriously and investigations are shockingly bad, they do not follow guidelines and bully customers into paying debts they don't owe.

Hello, Just had a lovely phone call with one of your operators. Who clarified some information for me regarding the terms and conditions of Brunel Way car. I have be given a PCN dated 26/03/2019 (Letter was received last week dated 16/04/2020) The lady on the phone stated that I had been issued a delayed payment on entry, she explained that as per the car parks terms and conditions that you are given a grace period of 10 minutes to pay for your ticket. She said this was included in the car parks terms and conditions. Unluckily for them I have a picture of the car parks terms and conditions from around this time. Whilst looking at their terms and conditions (which the lady said would most defiantly include information regarding the grace period) I was shocked to find that in fact there is no information regarding how long you are given before having to make a payment. Received a letter from BW Legal regarding a 100 parking fine from a private firm (private firm impossible to contact.) Kept saying the private parking firm were after 160 not BW Legal, when on the letter it stated that it was a 100 charge 60 recovery fee from BW Legal. Were unable when we politely asked how to contact the firm who originally charged us that they won't. They're in it for the money and don't care about you. Staff rude and unprofessional. No timescale given once paid.
To be fair - no Debt Collection agency is going to have 5 star reviews, it's generally not the place where people go to have a good experience. In fairness I had a 20 outstanding payment for my Internet. The people that dealt with me were considerate, professional and fairly reasonable. They wanted to know exactly whether I could pay this bill in full and they never applied pressure or unethical means to retrieve their debt. As an aside note - I come from a generation where if we couldn't afford something then we didn't buy it. The same goes for debt - If you can't pay then you should live within your means! (Not be nasty to the people enforcing the debt)
This company work on behalf of EXCEL PARKING. The parking company have said that l did not purchase a ticket, and sent me a PCN. I argued that l had but they found against me, and put BW Legal on my case. They have continually harassed me with phone calls, letters and emails. I have asked them to take me to Court on numerous occasions, but rather than do that and put an end to the matter, they would rather be complicit in obtaining money by deception, and harassing me. When l put this to them in an email, they sent one back and added pictures of awards they had received, unbelievable. They do not deserve a star ️ but unfortunately you cannot leave a review without one.
