Why is this nursery selling BUCKTHORN???? One of the most highly invasive plants ever? Please check the DNR website before buying plants to make sure you are planting native species. Even if this type of buckthorn isnt the the other type of buckthorn it’s still buckthorn. This species needs to be eradicated...period. They are taking over forest preserves.

My new brick patio looks awesome! Al did an excellent job taking care of the process from start to finish. Mac and his crew were very skilled and completed the job in a timely manner. They really take pride in their work. Clean up was perfect, too. I would highly recommend Whispering Hills.

It was typical of me to go to the big name nursery handy to my commute, but that was before I did some research. Prices had me leave the big name nursery and try the smaller nursery. But what may seem like a smaller nursery sure packs in the goodies at a better price. But what really makes this place is the knowledgeable people and the friendly atmosphere. I haven't shopped at any other nursery since finding this one. I feel at home AND save money. I met Shaun there this past weekend and once again, all my questions were answered and I know I got the best deal.
