This was a great food experience. The entrance of the restaurant is in the middle of the fish market, so at lunch time you can eat fresh fish just in front of fishermen selling their goods (in loud sicilian style). The quality and variety of food is great. They make an amazing mixed antipasti with a big (and very tasty) variety of fish. There is also a good selection of pasta and main dishes. I had an amazing “paccheri with red prawn and almonds”. One of those dishes soooo good that you rather not share with anyone else on the table. The staff is lovely, helpful and professional. Also the atmosphere of the restaurant is very good. Considering what you eat and how tasty everything is also the prices are not bad. Definitely one of the place to go to have a great food experience in a lovely environment without crying after the bill.

Mixed feelings: the starter was awesome, one of the ordered pasta dishes quite delicious, but the other one definitely not (very primitive, no sophistication, way too much salt). I don’t mind paying higher prices for very good quality, but here this was not necessarily the case. It seems a bit like hit or miss. Wouldn’t come back.
Food was very good, really good. But service was little bit lazy and not fully organized. When paying I had first two times not my bill and latter surprise – enormous price vs food. I paid more or less two times more than in similar places in Catania in the same time. Very good food and if your wallet is thick go there definitely.
We came very late at night. The raw fish platter tasted not very fresh. The swordfish roll is better, chef pasta looked like a trash. Pistachio cake is good. In general the menu are over-priced
Delicious food and good service. Was recommended to us by locals. We were very lucky as we got the last unreserved table so we would advise booking ahead as it was very popular.
