Very much underrated store in Cheltenham. It is getting a bit old and the layout reflects this, but items are always good quality and the secret hidden gem is the reduced section on level 2. Upto 50% off a lot of top brand items.

A sad demise for a once great department store. It is more like Warehouse of Fraser, with stock piled up in uninspired fashion. The carpets are tired and grotty, lots of lights don't work and aren't repaired (meaning you shop in perpetual gloom) and the choice of brands is now uninspired and decidedly average. The staff do their best and many, if not all, are professional and attentive. The Store Manager is a shining example of traditional retail values and professionalism but you can see in the workers eyes that they wouldn't be there if they had a choice. The place has lost its soul, charm and magic.

If you can get over the confusing layout of this House of Fraser, there’s lots to like. The floor plan seems a bit muddled, with lots of little separate areas and apparently no way out other than doubling-back on yourself, but there’s plenty of range in the clothing and accessories department. Big brands are neatly and attractively displayed and there’s also an excellent homewares and furniture section upstairs, with convenient lift access. Unfortunately we didn't find any makeup or fragrance counters. There are toilets and nearby (paid-for) parking at the Regent Arcade.
