When anyone asks me where to go for a good piece of beef, I tell them Brazil. But if you can not handle the twenty hour flight, then I think you can be quite satisfied with Harris. The aged porterhouse is seriously no joke, it is hands down the best steak in San Francisco. The ambiance, service, and appetizers are all great, but it's the steak that will keep me coming back.

Excellent food. Perfect amount of spice. A must stop location if you are in Chinatown. The fish fillet in hot pot is great and the sauteed green beans are excellent. Orders are enough for 2 maybe 3 people.

We arrive spot on at 7:00 p.m. on a Friday night. The four of had all ready had a few glasses of wine so we were all in a good mood. The outside of Harris is subdued colors not give you a hint what lays inside. The doorman opens and the door and you are transported back to San Francisco in the 50's. The dark wood paneling and the hushed carpet make it feel like on old school men's club. We are shown right to our table which happens to be a brown leather booth that has a great view of the room.

Similar to House of Prime Rib since the prices are reasonable and the steaks are really juicy. The texture of the steaks were really good and it wasn't tough like some other places that I know of. They blend some good matching wines, appetizers and desserts for whatever you're ordering. It made my date smile alot since the service is fantastico. This place reminded me of this mom n pop place in NYC. Because the steaks are aged, the flavor and marinade they use blend perfectly. If you can eat alot, come here!
Best Hunan cuisine I've had in a while: recommend their pork dishes (esp. Mao's pork belly twice cooked pork), as well as the beef short ribs
The food is awesome! Especially chopped hot peppers fish剁椒魚頭.... highly recommended!
