I walked in with an emergency, as a new patient, and the office staff was able to fit me in the same day despite a full schedule. Everyone was kind and friendly. Dr. Siegel was very thorough and personable. Thank you!

I’ve been under Dr. Siegel’s care for several years. He was the one who thought of the possibility of another cancer in a related area, which spared me endless woes from a cancer that was about to start spreading. He is very careful, thoughtful and watchful. There can be significant waits in his office. Occasionally these are caused by patients like myself who have continuing problems that pop up suddenly that need a quick check, or his early morning surgery schedule causing backups. His office staff is generally good, and they try to be protective of his time and of access to him. Dr. Siegel does ALL the patient care himself, a rarity in our modern era. He wants to understand his patients and to help them. Many friends refuse to even think about a physician who habitually runs off schedule. Several of these have also complained over the years about doctors who do not give them enough time, who don’t explain things well, who don’t care about what the patient’s concerns and thoughts are and who also can’t think beyond their specialty—Dr. Siegel has NONE of these shortcomings. He is experienced, wise, respectful and his highly acute mind always is accompanied by his sincere humanity. He is worth any wait. Try for a late in the afternoon appointment to have an end point to your waiting room time, or bring something to read and wait for someone whose skills and compassion can most likely resolve difficult medical situations.
I saw Dr. Ziegal one time, and he was very nice. However, dealing with his office receptionists has been a nightmare. I called every day for 4 weeks to get my biopsy test result and they have been very rude and unprofessional. After 4 weeks they got tired of me calling, and they told me that they will fax me the test. Unfortunately, Iris faxed 3 pages without the biopsy result. I finally gave up and I had the hospital where I had it done send me a copy. They will not allow me to talk or make appointment with the DR. Watch out Karma…
I attempted to inquire about services, was rudely told by office manager that I would have to call to have that conversation and to leave the office due to another patient being in a completely different room. When I explained that my cell phone was being repaired and that I simply had a question about treatment, the office manager picked up the phone as if to call the police. I asserted that was no way to treat customers and left.
While Dr. Siegel is amazing, I wish I could say the same for the overall experience dealing with the “billing/office manager”. In the process of making payments toward my balance I had a very unprofessional and ridiculous experience over the phone with someone at this office numerous times. I attempted to email a complaint through the site and also requested to speak with anyone else about my issue, and I was never able to do so. Now that my balance is paid in full, I still felt the need to just be heard. I unfortunately will think twice before returning to such great care of a physician due to the experience I’ve had with an office employee.
