Stayed a couple of days at the B&B attached to the shop. Clean comfortable room and common areas. Owner Jonas is very friendly. Fly shop is very well stocked with quality gear. Lots of great fishing opportunities in the area.

Very nice place, old timey fishin store vibe, with all the guys around talking about flyfishing. What a wealth of knowledge these guys have! LARGE selection of flies and gear for flyfishing. You won't find a better or more hometown helpful place!
The proof is in the net, but when you combine the comfortable bed & breakfast and the well-stocked fly shop with Jonas and his orbit of passionate staff, the Feathered Hook stands tall as a top national jumping off point for catching wild trout on the fly. I was brought to the Hook on a business outing a few years ago and it reconnected me with the kind of trout fishing I hadn't experienced since my youth in New Mexico. The guides are worth every penny. I recommend fishing with all of them at least once to experience Penns Creek from different professional perspectives, and these guys are pros, no doubt about it. I am a big fan of the Feathered Hook and highly recommend it for serious fly fisherman, including couples and families.

Outstanding fly shop. Truly and genuinely get treated like a friend. The staff provides VERY honest feedback, both pros and cons, of fly fishing gear they sell. Large unique inventory and priced very well. A visit to an active bamboo rod building shop in their property is a special treat.
