I brought my 24 year old daughter for whom I am her guardian for her first pelvic exam I had to talk to the staff about her disabilities so they were prepared. This also included a history of sexual abuse and mental health as well as developmental disabilities. She established the most warm and wonderful rapport so quickly with the staff. I commend all of you for your compassion. I just new she would get the best care there.

I can't quite understand any of the negative reviews on here.. I had such a pleasant experience from the moment I initially called, until the moment I was ready to leave the facility after my appointment. Every staff member was so nice and helpful. They are all very much aware of where your headspace is at & they know that you're nervous. So they are very understanding when speaking to you about any of your concerns or questions you may have. I never once felt that I wasn't cared for, they have women sitting in with you to help you with anything that you need. They are specifically there to help you and calm you. And I was allowed to have my best friend literally sit in on the procedure with me. So if you're scared to go alone, they encourage to bring someone. (Again, don't understand the comment below where they said to just go alone because you're basically alone the whole time) .... You're not. They were all very kind and personable here and I can't say enough good things about this place and their staff. \u003c3 Thanks for taking such good care of me.

Best experience I could have hoped for! The staff is kind, loving and down to earth if you treat them so. Every member was informative, and understanding. For someone who is simply curious and question everything, there wasn't one thing they couldn't answer with a smile! 100% every negative review is WRONG. I brought my husband with me, and they welcomed him with \open arms\. He was allowed to be with me for most of the time, other than counseling, and even then shortly through that, they asked if I'd like to have him come in to hear the informational part of our discussion. The facility is NOT small.. whomever wrote that review has clearly never been in this huge, clean, welcoming building. I will reccomend Equality Heath Center to any and every woman I come across who is simply looking for a GYN, who is pregnant pondering about an abortion or even thinks they may have miscarried. I can't stress how kind, understanding and informative they are. Additional pluses, they have a sliding scale, if you don't have or don't want to use your insurance (so clearly not out for your money!!) And the review stating you can be put on birth control right then and their is true, and again super informative on the different types. Thank you again lady's, I'll be back for future appointments!

This place literally saved my life. The people here were kind, compassionate, caring. My counselor spent an hour with me going over all the options about my pregnancy. A week later, I came in to have it taken care of and the staff were just as kind and non-judgmental on that day. Plus, I was able to get an IUD on the same day of my abortion!! Glad I had a choice, but never want to have to make it again and the IUD will help with that. I love the women and doctors that work at Equality Health Center. Thanks for being there for me!
