I love Consett and Backhill Park. I used to live across the road from the top entrance when my 2 were little, so we spend many happy hours walking up and down, walking around and playing at the playground. We remember hearing the brass bands play on a Sunday at the beautiful band stand, and the main activities that have taken place there, like Shakespeare in the Park, Park Runs, family days etc. It is a beautiful park worth walking through; be warned, it is quite hilly! I have enjoyed watching players at the bowling club too. It looks great in all seasons. Yes, I love it!

So much fun to snowboard in there has been lots of snow. Super pretty and a nice place for couples and family.
This park near black hill has an bowling green and children's park with swings, lovely place for quick run or walk the dog. Generally very clean and tidy with very little mess from dogs around the area. No real negative points , lovely place to walk your dog
