Gorgeous place to go for walks and to cycle. Amazing scenery and feels like your in the middle of nowhere! Bring a coat and wrap up as it get very cold and windy up there!

One of the most beautiful places in the UK, such dramatic landscapes, a true wilderness. If you're not an experienced walker/hiker/camper or navigator, go with someone who is all of these for your first few trips out. If you're out on the Moor, please support the local businesses like the shops, cafes and pubs. Really great atmosphere, great people, and local advice freely available for the areas. When you're driving about, make sure you have plenty of fuel. Some roads are brutal, you'll use way more than you think. Fuel stations are few and far between. Prepare for the worst. I've spent time here with the military and as a solo adventurer. You will get caught out. Weather works differently here! Fail to prepare, then prepare to fail.
What an AMAZING national park, This place is perfect for picnics and for panorama shots using your phone or camera. There is also so much history to take in that dates back 6,000 years in our collective human history.
Beautiful national park, with landscape ranging from the stark, stunning moorland of the north to the soft, pretty woodland valleys of the south. Plenty of panoramic views, pretty hamlets and villages, places of historical interest, granite tors, rivers and waterfalls, woods and Dartmoor ponies.
An underrated wonder of the United Kingdom. So many places to see and walk to visit. Beautiful greenery and very beautiful. Perfect for photography, driving trips and (in the right areas) camping.
