When I was referred to this clinic, I called to schedule an appointment. The woman I spoke to asked for my insurance info before scheduling an appointment and verified my coverage on the other line. When she verified my insurance, she told me to bring my driver's license and insurance card. When I asked why I had to do that when she clearly verified my insurance, she got defensive and told me she could connect me with a manager because that was simply their policy. Instead of sending me emailed forms to complete ahead of my initial visit, I was given paper forms to complete on the day of my appointment. This took an additional 45 minutes that could have been avoided. I work in IT and it baffles me that doctor's offices still require patients to fill out paper forms in order to conduct business in 2020. What was even more frustrating than the paper forms was the fact that I was then brought back to a consultation room and asked the same questions that I had answered on the paper forms. I also have to pay a different copay amount with each visit, and I don't appreciate knowing what I'm being asked to pay each time. To add insult to injury, I was scheduled for a visit after a sleep study to pay a copay and pay for parking for a 10 minute conversation that could've been an email or a phone call. The good news is that I'm scheduled for another follow up visit because YouTube tutorials for using a CPAP don't exist. Some of these issues are common for the industry as a whole, but I cannot forgive not having an online portal for forms and the refusal to abstaining from unnecessary appointments.

DO NOT COME HERE!! I have been dealing with this place for a few months now and although the doctors are very good...the front office staff makes it not even worth the visit and patronage. Lucy is absolutely incompetent and does not return calls or follow up as she states. It is a major headache dealing with this place. Please find another more professional business.

Today, June 3rd, I received a call from the vender of the CPaP machine that they can't install it until they get the rest of the paperwork from Pulmonary & Sleep Specialists. They didn't specify what they were missing. I am convinced that I would greatly benefit from the CPap machine but I am discouraged with the lag in getting it set up.
