Delicious Tex Mex food! Best Latin restaurant in downtown Des Moines! Amazing and courteous service and they make the best tacos in town!

Half priced, top-shelf margaritas. Who doesn't love that?? It was a pleasant surprise to be there on a Friday at 6pm to find out happy hour was until 7pm. The food was delicious. The only thing I wasn't fond of were their flour tortillas, next time I will opt for the corn tortillas, problem solved.

My first time to try Malo. I had the shrimp fajitas and they were excellent. My three co workers all had the three different taco option and they look fantastic. I will see about trying that in a couple of weeks. Prices were very reasonable and comparable to other Mexican restaurants not located in downtown Des Moines IA.

Great ambiance, great service, great food! Celebrating a birthday, everything was delicious, I had the Shrimp a la Crema and really enjoyed it. Have visited in the past for happy hour and tapas and have always had a great experience, would definitely recommend.

So the drinks are pretty good here. And the bartenders are awesome, super attentive and friendly. I got the pork tacos and they were pretty good. Not the best I have ever had but the staff and ambiance made up for them. Again these tacos were good, just not the best I have had.
