Founded by Ed Clancy OBE & Graham Briggs. Teaching children to ride can be a challenge. Many of us struggle to find the time in our lives and the right space in our busy urban environment to gift our children this life changing skill. The Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy offers a group environment which encourages learning and development. Your child will become part of a group that learns to play at cycling together, rewarding each other and spurring each other onwards as they acquire new skills and abilities. For many of us, being on a bike with friends is a thread that ties together years of childhood memories. At Clancy Briggs we want your child to create their own memories that they’ll take forward in life. Learning to ride is a gift we can give to the next generation and with it comes the likelihood that they’ll live a longer, happier and healthier life. In addition to our Flagship Academy in Doncaster, we have plans to open academies all over the UK - watch this space! We also have a Community Interest Company - Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy CIC. 100% of any donations funds places in the academy for those who need them most. In conjunction with our partnership with Hope Academy we can offer these children the bikes and all the equipment they need to join our academy. Graham Briggs -Winner of the first ever round of the Tour Series in 2009, over the course of his career he's been British National Champion, enjoyed a podium placing on a stage of the Tour of Britain and an International Stage Race win at the Tour Du Loir et Cher. With his ever present smile Graham is one of the most popular figures in the British Peloton.

My son has been taking part in the CB Live program throughout lockdown. He has been welcomed by the coaches and really made to feel part of the group. The weekly teaching sessions are excellent; so far they have been learning about goal setting, training schedules and race preparation. The sessions really focus on the young rider’s interests, experiences and development. Each week they come away with meaningful and helpful actions. The Tuesday turbo trainer sessions are the highlight of my son’s week. An hour of grit and hard work accompanied by young, enthusiastic team mates and the encouragement of Ali and Graham (all via Zoom!) What Clancy Briggs are offering with CB Live is a fantastic alternative to face to face coaching in these challenging times. Great job!

Took my (just) 4 year old with a view to getting some help with the transition from balance bike to pedal bike. With enthusiastic guidance from Ali the coach, she was pedalling away within a few minutes, and building confidence throughout the session. Great facility, friendly staff - I couldn't recommend highly enough.

I took the my two boys down to the Clancy Briggs Academy in the summer and they absolutely loved it. We live in North Yorkshire, so sadly can't go every week, but the holiday camps are amazing. Ed Clancy was there coaching on the day we went and he was so great with the kids. It was such a surprise for them to be coached by a real Olympic champion! Everything is very well organised and they have good covid measures in place, it felt very safe. Can't wait for them to open an academy near us. Highly recommend for getting the kids active and away from devices.

I have to say 10/10 for the Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy. The coaches have the skills and knowledge and more for cycling and there relationship with the students is fantastic. Great support & encouragement. My daughter as come on so far in such a short time with her confidence skills and knowledge. The amazing coaches and set up go hand in hand. Great to see the coaches passing on there knowledge allowing the future generation the enjoy and be educated in the world of cycling. Can’t recommend the Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy enough.

My son LOVES attending the Clancy Briggs Cycling Academy. Each session is different, working on a variety of skills and never getting bored. My son has progressed so much since joining. The coaches are very professional and fantastic with the children, they obviously really care. Fantastic facilities and set up too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
