A good selection of books. I can always find a book that catches my interest. If there isn’t a book I want, staff members are always ready to help and order a copy from another Surrey library.
Came in here in an emergency as I need to point some documents for an audition! They were so helpful and made me much less stressed! Thank you.
Such a helpful and friendly stuff, i needed to copy something and went there today. I was approached by member of stuff asking if i need help with the machines and i said no, than another member of stuff apologised to me coz was with customer and said for two sec will be with me. As promised she was available in the next few min and explained to me how to use their photocopier.
Rude member of staff when I used the lib on 25/08. Long queue for the machines so went to the empty help desk, lady at the desk asked "Why can't you use the machines?", I then explained that although I didn't have my card I know my membership number off by heart, then was given the 3rd degree over how I usually take books out. I explained that I usually use the app, but as I knew my number I thought it would save the time taken to get my phone out. Once she begrudgingly scanned my book she then said "Now you show me how you take books out". Talked to me as if I was a 5 year old when I only asked for her help. Will happily queue to use the machines now.
We just moved here in dorking and i love reading books so when i went on the library the staff were so kind and friendly to us
