Always a pleasures! Dr. Marseilles is wonderful! Always on point and affordable! So cute toolet me clarify the mobile vet has no affiliations with the shelter. His schedule is what brings him to the shelter. However, since the passing of the great Captain Herb from WSB which donated quite a bit of money to upgrade from the other old one which was deplorable.

I was very hesitant to adopt as it was owning my first dog, however the pictures of the animals available online were a true depiction of our new fur baby, Major the German Shepherd. He was so excited to see the staff as he would bark and jump for joy, as it was an indication of how well his relationship was with the staff. I am so pleased with how our process went with adopting him and I am truly humbled and excited with our new baby. I am glad we were able to help bring him home as he was there for quite some time and now he has a forever home with my family and I. Please go adopt, there are more beautiful and kind fur babies waiting on their new forever home!

Love that you have to schedule an appointment, and the staff is very caring and following the COVID protocols while taking care of the animals in their care!

Animal Control- Highly inefficient and negligent. I have made several calls on multiple occasions and I am yet to be assisted. Once again, I am referring to animal control and dispatch services. Do they even exist? We have so many stray and lost dogs in Douglas County, it would be great if animal control actively did their job and aided these poor creatures. However, in regards to the humane society... they are incredible and I am proud of the wonderful/ impactful work they do in our community!
