After a communication break down between my childrens father and myself I sought help from Melinda. My two girls had very different needs from a councillor and both felt very safe and trusted Melinda quite early on which helped the process. I was worried about what was happening during their sessions but Melinda always kept me in the loop with the important parts which kept my nerves at ease. I would highly recommend step by step for anyone needing help. All of the other avenues available had very long wait lists and I felt my children needed help ASAP but I was able to get in within a week and got things started quickly. My girls still use techniques that Melinda gave them to cope with situations outside of our parenting issues which is wonderful for them to have in their back pocket :) .
